takes cases to trial. A thorough and complete case investigation
leaves nothing to chance. Bermudez personally reviews all documents
and reports. Anything that the prosecutor or police claim to be
evidence is scrutinized carefully. Bermudez personally interviews
everyone and anyone involved in the case, from arresting officers, technicians
and lab workers who calibrate machines used for testing breath, blood,
and other bodily substances, to civilian witnesses. Bermudez also
utilizes expert witnesses to rebut the prosecution’s theory and
educate juries of the weaknesses in the prosecution’s case. Bermudez
personally visits the scene of the arrest or stop to personally observe
the area for defenses and inaccuracies in police reports. Hence,
while closely scrutinizing the prosecutor’s case, Bermudez gathers
evidence of innocence.
